Portland Stage Summer PLAY program

Join us for a special visit from the Portland Stage Summer PLAY Tour! Designed for children in grades Pre-K through 5, this dynamic program features a 30-minute dramatic reading of stories inspired by the theme “Color Our World: Arts and Creativity,” followed by a 45-minute interactive workshop. Professional teaching artists engage kids in bringing stories to life through movement, voice, and imagination—building literacy, creativity, and confidence along the way. Featured books may include The Day the Crayons Quit, Art Dog, Alphonse, You’re Ruining the Show!, and What Do You Do With an Idea?
