Read with Louis the Therapy Dog

Spaulding Memorial Library has a new friend that we are excited for you to meet. His name is Louis and he is a therapy dog. Kids of all ages are welcome to stop by for some unconditional support. Louis likes all kinds of stories, which can help your child build confidence, no matter what their reading level. Some kids might read to him. Others may spend some time describing pictures. And if all they need is simply a friendly ear, Louis is the perfect friend to open up to. It’s a no-pressure, all-encouragement kind of day, perfect for building confidence and having fun while reading!
