Trail Cleanup Day

Spaulding Memorial Library is teaming up with the Sebago Department of Recreation and Loon Echo Land Trust to bring a brand-new StoryWalk to the trail at Sebago Elementary School! But before the adventure begins, we need your help.
Come take part in our Trail Cleanup Day as we prepare the path for families, students, and neighbors. When the work is done, the trail will be a safe, beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. It will then be ready for the unveiling of the very first StoryWalk story. (We’ll give you a hint: it’s a quest worth taking!)
What to expect: Tasks will include trimming branches, raking, removing brush, marking the trail, and installing StoryWalk panels. No previous trail work experience is required.
What to bring: Some gloves, loppers, hand saws, and rakes will be provided, but bring your own sturdy footwear, gloves, water and snacks. Bring your favorite loppers and rake if you have them.
