Holiday Card Making Party

November 29 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Free

Join Zach this Saturday as we make some holiday cards to send to our loved ones. Store bought cards are so expensive! If you like to send holiday cards, but can’t justify the cost, this event might be for you. Or maybe you just like to get crafty on a cool fall weekend. Or maybe you just want to be social with some crafty folks. Either way, stop by!

The plan is to use up old holiday cards that we have saved from years past by cutting them up into new works of art. Sometimes that is a matter of cutting off a perfectly good card cover and repasting it onto a fresh new piece of cardstock. But we can also let our imaginations run wild and follow where they take us. Collaging is fun with others because you get exponential amounts of inspiration from peeking at the designs around you.

We will try to have some materials like glue sticks and cardstock. You might want to bring your favorite paper cutting scissors. We will also need a good supply of old holiday cards. Old pieces of wrapping paper and ribbon might be something you could bring, as well.

We may not be able to make enough for our whole holiday card lists in this one sitting, but we can at least make a start. Depending on feedback, we could have one or more card making parties in the next month.
